Beach Combers

What a fabulous weekend! We've dreamed of island hopping since the beginning of this sailing quest & we're finally doing it! As I mentioned before, Dan & Cheri came from Marsh Harbor for another visit & the 4 of us went to Manjack Caye for the weekend. We did a lot of exploring, which was so fun . We learned how to clean & cook Conch meat.

We spent time at several different beaches. All empty, all beautiful.

We picked our favorite & moved the boat again a little further north of the Munjack anchorage.
Dan taught Scott & I the art of basket weaving, which I must say, is quite addicting. Scott has become obsessed!

Cheri showed us lots of new recipes & we ate like kings! Cooking on a boat is very challenging, to say the least.
After 6 years, Cheri is a master. She never ceases to amaze us with yummy meals.
Thanks guys!

See ya in Marsh Harbour soon!
We're back to Green Turtle enjoying the luxaries of a marina. At $11/day it was hard to say no. We're still making our own electricity but we have unlimited water, Internet, hot showers. Laundry for the bargain rate of $4.00 per wash, $4.00 per dry. We only splurge for the wash & wait for a sunny day. :)
Our water pump is kaputz so that's what we'll be fixing the next couple days. The boat projects never go away.
